{give-away: crystal & 24 karat gold tray}

{this is glamorous} give-away

. . . has been a while since the last glamorous give-away, but most definitely well worth the wait . . .

. . . designer anna rabinowicz launched her first home collection for new york-based rab | labs in 2002, creating objects inspired by nature, fusing ancient, precious materials in a luxurious palette with modern design, layering semi-precious gems, including crystal and agate, with the finishing touches of pure gold and sterling silver . . .

. . . resulting in beautiful pieces such these pure brazilian agate bookends, left, and a personal favourite, the rose quartz tray with 24 karat gold trim, right

. . . rab | labs' pieces are so lovely, they have been featured in the new york times, elle décor, architectural digest, harper’s bazaar, o magazine, and new york magazine and carried by the museum of modern art stores, moss, and barneys new york . . .

. . . and best of all, today, one charmed reader will win a crystal and 24 karat gold or sterling silver tray {retail $325.00 - $375.00}, perfect for brie & table water crackers on a romantically overcast autumn afternoon, or champagne & macarons in a pair of sequined heels after dinner, or even as an ultra-stylish place to display an exquisite perfume collection on the dressing table . . .

to enter, {click here} to visit rab | labs or {here} to browse the beautiful selection of crystal trays, then leave a comment below

{bonne chance!/good luck!}

{work, work, work}

. . . being away means catching up on a few things upon returning, and so, a flurry of things early this morning and well into the afternoon, but after, there will be many new and exciting things here, and even after that, so many more beautiful things to share later on in the day . . . do stop in again if you like . . .

hope you're well,

{p.s.} if you're just arriving:

{two lovely things: mirrors & chandeliers}

two lovely things

. . . there is nothing quite like a glittering chandelier or sparkling mirrors to add luxe and glamour to any space, and always a fondness for mirrored vanities in particular and have fallen for this incredible dressing table {wouldn't it also be lovely as a desk?} and the beautiful way it is paired with a charmingly rustic mirror for a wonderfully informal, yet stunningly elegant place for favourite photographs, pearls and perfume and, of course, to prepare for a new day . . .

{p.s.} more mirrors:
* warm & romantic
* cool & modern

{a new week + happy monday}

good {late} morning! monday, monday . . . and hope you've had a perfectly stunning weekend -- here it's been afternoon drives and magical turning leaves, dazzling nightskies and romantically cozy cashmere nights . . . but now, it's back to work, and since we're still away for one extra day, it's strong coffees and out of the office, laptops and iphones and that wonderful feeling of being on holiday while working, although must confess that being immersed in such beautiful things hardly feels like work at all . . .

happy, happy monday! hope your week is off to a perfect start,

{this is glamorous} give-away

{have a beautiful weekend + links}

happy weekend

hello again! perhaps a little astonishing how quickly the time has flown, as it would seem as if the days are fading beautifully into one, and after a wonderfully busy and rather eventful week, spending a little time lost in love and the possibilities of the night sky, enveloped in floral linen mornings and, most of all, languidly late afternoons spent lounging about . . .

whatever your plans may be, hope you're having a beautiful weekend,
-r. xo
